simplefy.ai to deliver SA's AI Capability Pilot Program

simplefy.ai has been selected to deliver South Australia's AI Capability Pilot Program

I'm incredibly proud to share that simplefy.ai has been selected by the Government of South Australia to deliver the South Australian AI Capability Pilot Program ; a government-backed initiative to help South Australian small and family businesses adopt AI safely, confidently, and with real business impact.

This is one of those moments where everything we've been working towards comes together.

Why this matters

Over the past year, I've had hundreds of conversations with business owners across South Australia. The pattern is the same.

They know AI is important. They've heard about ChatGPT, automation, agents, all of it. But when it comes to actually doing something with it? They're stuck. Overwhelmed by the sheer number of tools. Burned by consultants or products that promised the world and delivered nothing. Or simply afraid of getting it wrong; worried about privacy, security, or making an expensive mistake.

The gap isn't awareness. It's capability. And that's exactly what this program is designed to close.

What we're delivering

Funded by the Office for Small and Family Business, and delivered as part of the South Australian Small Business Strategy 2023–2030, this program will support 300+small and family businesses across the state over the next 18 months.

Here's what participants get:

  • AI Build Days: hands-on group sessions where business owners build a working AI agent or workflow, learn prompting and context-engineering techniques, and understand governance foundations like privacy and cyber basics. These aren't lectures. You leave with something that works.

  • 1-on-1 AI Coaching: up to five hours of tailored coaching with experienced professionals, helping you apply AI specifically to your business. No generic advice.

  • Ongoing Community Support: six months of access to our Slack community and AI resource hub, so you're not on your own after the sessions end.

Built for everyone

One of the things I'm most passionate about with this program is its commitment to equitable access. We're specifically reaching out to regional businesses, First Nations business owners, women in business, business owners living with disability, and culturally and linguistically diverse communities. This program is designed to meet people where they are.

What this means for simplefy.ai

For our team, this grant is more than funding. It's validation that the approach we believe in: practical, hands-on, human-first AI adoption, is the right one. It's an opportunity to reach hundreds of businesses we couldn't have reached on our own. And it's a chance to prove that when you give small businesses the right tools, skills, and support, they don't just adopt AI, they thrive with it.

We're based at Lot Fourteen's TechCentral in Adelaide, right at the heart of South Australia's innovation ecosystem, and we couldn't be more energised to get this program off the ground.

What's Next

If you're a South Australian small or family business and you're curious about what AI could do for you, this program is for you.
